Scribes & Vibes proud to announce The Black Bookstore Tour. To ensure diverse voices and visions are heard, shared and celebrated, we will be partnering with Black-owned bookstores to amplify Black Voices and simulate a Strong Black Economy.

Join us for a celebration of the arts. Enjoy live music, spoken word, artists talks, author readings, and open mic performances; both in-store and online. The June 11, 2022 program focuses on the theme, "Instrumental Voices" in efforts to illustrate the beauty and breadth of Black creative professionals.

THE RHYME AND REASON

"It don't mean a thing, if it ain't got that swing."

Rhythm & Rhymes celebrates the cultural heritage of jazz and poetry through the lens of literature, spoken word, instrumentation, performance, and songs. Our public art programs are designed to shape thoughts, build a sense of community, and open the door for meaningful dialogue while knocking down the walls that constrain commonality.
